All things sheep; free patterns

It’s the Year of the Sheep (or goat, or ram, depending on who you talk to) in the Chinese calendar, so we’ve decided to celebrate all things woolly. Check out our pick of the cutest FREE sheep patterns on the net.

Knitted hot water bottle cover

This fun bedroom accessory was put together by Herdy in the UK and you have two options – make a hot water bottle cover, as shown, or make it into a soft toy. Each option is adorable.

Sock sheep

Oh my gosh. We think these are so cute. Created by Joanne over at Craft Passion, she’s included two patterns – one for standing sheep, and one for sheep that recline. We love them both. Click here for the free instructions.

Crocheted and knitted lamb hats

This is just the thing to keep baby’s head warm in winter – a knitted or crocheted lamb hat. The first pattern is knitted, and is free from Amy Gaines over at Ravelry (click here). The second is crocheted by Sarah, and the free pattern can be found at Repeat Crafter Me (click here).
