Many herbs have antimicrobial properties which make them perfect for use in natural homemade cleaners. Take sage, for example. It’s antibacterial and antifungal (it’s also antiviral, and is commonly used in mouthwashes and gargles to treat inflammations and irritations of the mouth and throat), so it’s ideal for cleaning purposes. We love this simple but very effective natural cleaner. Use it to clean kitchen and bathroom sinks and surfaces.
